Bracken Harvest, Barton Fell

Size: 30x40cm. The bracken is harvested on Barton Fell every year by www.dalefootcomposts.co.uk. They compost it with sheep wool to create award-winning peat free compost. The stunning early morning autumn light in the photograph I used for this piece inspired me to use my gorgeous autumn colour palette.
